Facial Trauma

Accidents do happen and Dr. Jones has extensive experience evaluating and treating facial trauma including:

• Facial lacerations (cuts) of the skin and the oral mucosa (tissue)
• Avulsed (knocked out teeth)
• Fractured facial bones(upper and lower jaw, cheek, nose)
• Dislocated TMJ (jaw joint)

IMPORTANT - If a tooth is knocked out, time is extremely important. If the tooth appears intact, place the tooth in milk or moist tissue and page Dr. Jones (630-680-6019), so that the tooth can be replaced and stabilized as soon as possible.
